Fitbit wristband compatibility

Fitbit unfortunately has little compatibility among its devices in terms of the wristbands. The same also applies to the charging stations. Fitbit also has its own system for each fitness tracker there. Personally, I think that’s a shame.

Do the bracelets from the Fitbit Charge 2 fit the Charge 3?

The Fitbit Charge 3 is the successor to the Charge 2 and looks very similar. Still, there are several differences between the Fitbit Charge 2 and Charge 3 . Among other things, the bracelets. Thus, the wristbands from Charge 2 do not fit on Charge 3 . The same also applies the other way round, of course.

Do the Fitbit Alta wristbands fit on the Alta HR?

There is positive news here. The Fitbit Alta and Alta HR wristbands are identical . The fitness trackers in themselves, however, are not. Your heart rate is the biggest difference between the Fitbit Alta and Alta HR . The same bracelets also fit on the Fitbit Ace* , the fitness tracker for children. So here we have a grouping – Fitbit Alta, Alta HR, Ace.

Do the Flex bracelets fit on the Flex 2?

In contrast to its successor, the Flex 2, the bracelet cannot be changed on the Fitbit Flex . This basically makes the question superfluous. In some cases you will find what you are looking for. However, if you look closely, it quickly becomes clear that these are bracelets for the Fitbit Flex 2.

How to change Fitbit band straps

As you saw in our list above. the bracelet can be changed on many Fitbit models. The bracelets vary in size, color and shape and are available in the shop on the provider’s website. The various closures are relatively similar and not too difficult to change, but there are some for which the wristband is changed a little differently, so we have given instructions for 3 below: the Charge 2, Charge 3 and the Versa models.

As a rule, there are small hooks directly on the model of the fitness tracker. These are pressed together and the bracelet comes off. This usually has to be done separately for each side. Depending on the device, the hooks look a little different.
