Often the heavily warming down blankets are banished from the bedroom beds, especially in the summer months. Proper storage of the duvets then ensures that they can be used optimally again in the cold winter months. » Packaging
Down blankets must always be air-permeable and therefore breathably packed so that they do not suffer any damage. Cotton covers as well as special bedding packaging from the specialist trade are suitable for the duvet. » Deposit
The duvet must be stored in summer in a dry, as dark as possible place. A good, as consistently tempered indoor climate as possible also ensures that no unpleasant odour or odour forms or that moisture cannot form in the beds – otherwise there is a risk of mould.
» Pests
Feather beds can easily be infested when storing pests, but cedar balls and dried lavender (sewing in cotton cloths) help deter this problem – simply enclose in the folded duvet.
