Phone holder from a shampoo bottle: how to
All you need is an empty shampoo bottle, scissors, a utility knife and a pen to mark.
Steps
- First remove the lid of the bottle. Most of the time this can be turned off easily.
- Rinse the bottle and remove the stickers if necessary. This is easiest if you soak them under warm water and peel them off.
- Now cut off the upper part of the bottle.
- Next, draw a line in the center of the front of the container. From the side ends of the middle line, draw to the cut out part on the back and separate out this part.
- It only lacks the hole that should have about socket size. Draw on the remaining back a min. 4x4cm square.
- After this is cut out, your “blank” is ready. Now you need to adjust the height of the front panel so that your smartphone fits into the socket with the charger plugged in.
- Finally, only the design is missing. There are no limits here. Whether painting, sticker or other – let the creativity run wild.
- Tip: If you want to decorate the holder with paint, you should first look at what you have to consider when painting plastic.
