Whether it’s house paint, hair dye or ink paint – our guide and tips show you how to easily remove paint from skin.

Paint spots are usually stubborn

Every now and then, in every good household, it happens that the walls or the doors or anything else has to be painted. Inevitably, you come into contact with the paint or the varnish.

Most of the time, you don’t pay any attention to it and then after the action you start to wash your hands, rub, rub – but mostly you leave behind paint residues that you just don’t get. Even if you fill your ink cartridges from the printer itself, for example, many of us end up with ink on our skin.

Another example? Hair dyeing! Especially with dark colors, this can be a problem. The color is supposed to affect the hair, but of course also gets to the scalp and especially to the skin at the hairline. It doesn’t look really nice. So what should you do if there are any stains left on the skin? Easy! Try our tips out and marvel at how quickly the spots on the skin disappear again.

Remove paint from skin – 4 tips

  1. No matter what stains you are dealing with, rub the affected areas with margarine, butter or some oil. Leave on a little and then rinse with soap. That would have to work. If not everything goes away, then quietly rub a little with a rough washcloth.
  2. If you have a lot of stains on your face and hands after painting, then you should rub your skin first with some baby oil. Leave on for a short time and then wash everything off with soap and lukewarm water.
  3. Do you dye your hair yourself? Then you know what you look like after that. In the neck, neck, earlobes and forehead there are always spots left. There are several ways to remove them. Try it first with a little cigarette ash. It might sound a bit weird now, but it helps. Put some cigarette ash on a damp cloth and rub the stains on the skin with it. Then wash everything off again. If this does not help, then you should try it with some shaving water, nail polish remover or lemon juice. The redness caused by rubbing should quickly disappear again. Use tea tree oil to remove the stains, then you usually do not have to rub hard. The tea tree oil easily replaces the hair color and does not irritate the skin.
  4. Printer cartridges are quite expensive. That is why many people are filling them up today. For this purpose, there are special refill tricks in the trade. If you don’t wear gloves when refilling, you’ll have many ink stains on your skin. To remove them from the skin, you should rub the affected areas on the skin with turpentine. Then wash the skin thoroughly with clear water.
