Whether it’s cucumber, avocado, cottage cheese or honey – we already have most products for a face mask at home. With the help of these everyday products, you can easily make warm face masks at home yourself.
So you can do something good for your skin and spoil yourself at home. Homemade masks are not only relaxing, they also give you a radiant complexion and reduce small wrinkles.
To make your beauty treatment look really effective, you should try the latest trend: warm facial masks! If you ask yourself, why? The answer: The heat opens the pores of the facial skin and absorbs the nutrients better. For the mask, mix all ingredients as usual.
Simply heat the finished mixture in the microwave or in a pot. And then you can start with the beauty program. It is most effective to apply the beauty mask after showering, because the skin is already preheated and due to the moisture it is even more receptive.
Make warm face masks at home: Tips for an effective effect
Before I tell you some of my favorite recipes, here are some tips for you. Both in winter and in summer, the skin is irritated by dry air. It is therefore advisable to apply a beauty mask once or twice a week.
- Clean skin well, so it is free from fats and can absorb the ingredients well
- Make masks fresh, then they can be kept in the fridge for a day or longer
- After the mask has been applied, always rinse the skin thoroughly with warm water
Guacamole mask
For dry and sensitive skin, a guacamole mask helps. The main ingredient is the super healthy avocado. It provides your skin with vitamins A and E and gives it a lot of moisture. What do you need for a guacamole mask?
- Half an avocado
- One teaspoon of lemon juice
- A protein
Core the avocado first, puree the pulp and mix with the remaining ingredients. The mask can be retracted for about 15 minutes.
Pumpkin Mask
If you suffer from impure skin, then I recommend you a pumpkin mask. The vitamins A and C contained in the pumpkin as well as the zinc purify and care for your skin wonderfully. For the mask you need:
- Half a teaspoon of honey
- Two teaspoons of cooked pumpkin
- A dash of milk
Purée the pumpkin and mix the ingredients well. Then apply with a spoon and leave to work for 15 minutes.
Seaweed mask
Do you want to supply your skin with important minerals? Then try the algae mask. The rich algae are a great natural product that detoxifies your skin. For the mask you mix:
- Four tablespoons algae powder
- Ten tablespoons of water
- Two tablespoons of olive oil
The algae powder you get, for example, in the pharmacy. Leave the mask to work for about 45 minutes after application.
