Make a honey face mask: A simple variation
If you also want to use the nourishing effect of honey in a soothing face mask, the easiest way is to dilute it with a little water. To do this, stir two tablespoons of honey with enough hot water until a mix is formed, which you can then spread on your face with a cosmetic brush or a cosmetic cloth.
Before applying the mask, it is important to cleanse the skin thoroughly. This is always very important so that the valuable substances in the honey can penetrate into the skin. Save the eye area when applying, so that the honey does not run into your eyes. Now you leave the mask on for about 20 minutes. Then you wash off the honey with warm water and remove any leftovers with a soft cloth.
Cleansing mask with honey for impure variant
For this variant against impure skin, mix two tablespoons of honey with two tablespoons of edible quark and two teaspoons of nourishing olive oil. Heat the honey lightly first and then mix it with the other ingredients. Again, you should clean your face before applying.
Leave the mass on your face for about 15 minutes, then remove it with lukewarm water. If you want to achieve a stronger antibacterial effect, you can add two to three drops of tea tree oil to your face mask.
