When it comes to easy Christmas dessert recipes, nobody can resist an juicy apple trifle!
ingredients
For 4 people
- 1.5 kg sour apples (e.g. Cox Orange)
- 100 g + 100 g sugar
- 100 ml + 100 ml apple juice
- 400 g crème fraîche
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 250 g whipped cream
- 100 ml Irish whiskey (e.g. Tullamore Dew)
- 350 g shortbread (shortbread)
preparation
- Peel, quarter, core and cut apples into small pieces.
- Caramelize 100 g of sugar in a large saucepan until golden brown.
- Add apples and deglaze with 100 ml apple juice.
- Bring to the boil and cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes until the apples start to crumble.
- Remove from the stove and let cool.
- Mix the crème fraîche, 100 g sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Whip the cream until stiff and fold in.
- Mix 100 ml of apple juice and whiskey.
- Dip the shortbread into the whiskey mixture one after the other.
- Layer with apple compote and cream in a bowl.
- Chill for 2 hours.

ingredients
For 4 portions
- 500 ml milk
- 1 pack ofcustardpowder (for cooking)
- 10 tablespoons of sugar
- 100 g chopped hazelnuts
- 200 g whipped cream
- cinnamon
- 2 bananas
- Cling film
- baking paper
preparation
- For the vanilla cream, stir 100 ml milk, pudding powder and 3 tbsp sugar until smooth.
- Bring the rest of the milk to the boil. Stir in the stirred pudding powder and simmer for approx. 1 minute.
- Put the pudding in a bowl, cover with foil and let cool.
- Caramelize 4 tablespoons of sugar in a pan for the brittle.
- Stir in the nuts.
- Spread brittle on a piece of baking paper. Let cool down.
- Stir the pudding smooth.
- Whip the cream.
- Crumble brittle.
- Stir in the cream, except for 2 tbsp. And brittle, except for 1 tbsp.
- Mix the cinnamon and 3 tablespoons of sugar.
- Peel the bananas, slice them and toss them into cinnamon sugar.
- Layer the pudding and bananas in glasses.
- Decorate with the rest of the cream and brittle.

Tipsy stollen trifle with raspberries

You can’t start preparing for the Christmas menu early enough. Thanks to the heavenly and simple stollen trifle, which is one of our favourite easy Christmas dessert recipes, at least the dessert is ready in not time at all and looks amazing!
ingredients
For 4 people
- 300 frozen raspberries
- 500 g stollen biscuits
- 6 tbsp brown rum
- 6 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 1 glass (213 g each) of marshmallow cream (e.g. “fluff”)
- Disposable piping bag with star nozzle
- Kitchen gas burners
preparation
- Let the raspberries thaw for about 20 minutes.
- Cut the stollen into bite-sized pieces and divide half into six dessert glasses.
- Drizzle with 1⁄2 tbsp of rum each.
- Add half-frozen berries and 1 scoop of ice cream.
- Spread the remaining stollen on top and drizzle with 1⁄2 tbsp of rum.
- Fill the marshmallow cream into a piping bag with a star nozzle and sprinkle it into the dessert glasses.
- Flame with a kitchen gas torch and serve immediately.

Quick cinnamon mousse au chocolate

ingredients
For 8 people
- 150 ml milk
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 400 g dark chocolate
- 800 g whipped cream
- 50 g spiced speculoos

preparation
- Warm the milk and cinnamon in a saucepan over low heat and let them steep briefly.
- Take out the cinnamon.
- Divide the chocolate into pieces and dissolve in the hot milk while stirring.
- Fill the chocolate mass into a large mixing bowl and let it cool for about 45 minutes.
- Whip the cream until stiff and fold into the chocolate mass.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and cover and chill for approx. 3 hours.
- Crumble speculoos.
- Cover with mousse.
