Fashion hack #1: straightener instead of irons!
In the morning before work it usually has to be very fast. There is no time to iron a blouse that has creased overnight. The best and fastest solution: Iron over it again with the hair iron in the wrinkled places. The hair iron is built faster and is completely sufficient for a crumpled collar or sleeve! This is one of our favourite ways to hack clothing problems and great for quick touch-ups. Just make sure there is no residue of hair product on the straightener!
Fashion Hack #2: Get rid of lint!
Especially fleece and wool tend to put on hair and lint. In daylight, these can be seen particularly well. If you don’t have a lint roller at hand, it’s best to use the package adhesive tape! You wrap this with the adhesive side outwards around a bottle, around a rolling pin or simply around your own hand and walk over your garment until all the lint has disappeared. Alternatives to lint removal are a rubber glove, a nylon stocking, a blunted razor or an old kitchen sponge!
Fashion Hack #3: Clean Shoes!
You would like to make your lacquer shoes shine again or your white sneakers to shine again and have no shoe care products at home? Then I have a great solution for you: glass cleaner! The cleaning agent is a true all-round talent, with which above all the sole of the shoe shines like new again.
Fashion hack #4: Stop the ladders in hosiery!
No matter how much you take care that the tights hold, sooner or later it ladders! And then the frustration is usually very great, because running ladders grow very quickly. You can easily counteract this with hairspray. Simply spray on the cracked meshes and let them dry. Thus, the running ladder cannot expand inexorably.
Fashion hack #5: Buy trousers without trying on!
If you’re wearing beautiful jeans but you’re under time pressure and can’t try them anymore, just put the closed waistband around your neck. If it fits perfectly around your neck, it also sits perfectly at your waist!
Fashion hack #6: Shorten trousers without sewing!
Are your pants too long for you, but too bad to just cut them off with scissors — or maybe you just want to temporarily shorten them? Then we now have THE solution for you: Simply iron the legs at the length you want them to be, then put the lower hem of the trousers in a rubber band and push the fabric further under the rubber as needed!
Fashion Hack #7: Enlarge shoes
That is indeed possible! For this you have to put on several socks, slip into the said shoe and warm the tight spots with the hair dryer. Do not take off the shoes until the warm spots have cooled down. If they still don’t quite fit, just repeat the process!

The problem: Buttons can be torn off so quickly or detach themselves from the garment. The solution: nail polish! Simply paint transparent varnish on to the yarn and let it dry. For this, it is best to use a transparent color, so that the stain is not noticeable.
