In such a case, it is better if you can present a feasible solution directly and make every effort to implement it.

Don’t cover up mistakes

In most cases, trying to cover up your mistakes doesn’t help much. A quick solution is needed and no one should notice that you have made a mistake. You need to fix the problem and finish or at least continue working on the ongoing and incoming tasks. More stress, less accurate work and the problem cannot be solved efficiently.
