Steps to make a DIY clarifying face mask

The following face mask is suitable for normal and mixed skin and is quickly touched. It disinfects, removes excess fat, allows pimples and blackheads to heal faster and also contributes to the reduction of the skin pores.

You need: 3 tbsp healing earth (mineral clay … available in the drugstore, in pharmacies or online) 1.5 tbsp naturally cloudy apple cider vinegar 1.5 tbsp water 2 tsp organic sunflower oil

Here’s how you go: Mix the mineral clay, apple cider vinegar, water and sunflower oil. If the paste is still too thick, add a little more vinegar or water. Don’t be surprised, the paste starts foaming when adding vinegar. Therefore, it is recommended to use a slightly larger bowl. The foam then settles back.

Spread the paste thickly on the face (generously spare the eye and mouth area) and allow to dry for about 15 minutes until it starts to crumble. Then wash thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Tip: If you have sensitive skin, dose the apple cider vinegar carefully to avoid skin irritation. If necessary, you can simply use a little less vinegar and more water. Due to the active ingredients of the mask, the skin is particularly well blooded and therefore reddens slightly. This is intentional and settles down after a short time.

If you use the mask regularly every two weeks, you can look forward to a permanently clear complexion.
